Fire Safety Volunteer Event

POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER

Saturday, May 28th June 4th, 9am to 12:30pm

The Pinebrook Fire Safety Committee’s next volunteer event is this Saturday, May 28th from 9am to 12:30pm. Please join us!

This Saturday we will once again be working on both sides of the corner of Canyon Drive and Canyon Drive Court to remove all the logs laying along the road, in the creek and along the lowest part of the walking trail. We are trying to take advantage of the fact that Dumpster Days will be taking place at Pinebrook Park from May 27th to June 6th. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to remove the material that can be chipped and to bring it down to the park.

For those that haven’t joined us previously, please know that our volunteer group is a fun easy-going group that gets a lot of satisfaction from knowing that we are slowly but surely making progress in reducing fire risk within our community. No matter how physically fit you are, there is a role for you. We have an awesome group of core volunteers already, but are always looking for more. If you join us, you only need to stay as long as you are able. Come for an hour or come for 3 1/2. You will feel very welcome either way!

Please RSVP if you can join us (or with any questions) at pinebrookfiresafety@gmail.com. In addition to good gloves and hiking boots, please wear long sleeve shirts and pants.
